#EA ORIGIN DRAGON AGE INQUISITION WILL NOT LAUNCHING MODS#
So.before you go uninstalling mods and/or changing game versions, try just *completely* disabling your antivirus software. Normally I start all my advice with "kill your mods and start over" but in this case what you describe is very similar to what many others have faced, and the fault was in antivirus software conflicts. Tried launching game from both Origin and Steam, no difference. I've played this game (pirate) on my PC before, with the highest settings and it works well. I don't want my money wasted and I love this game. the game just takes forever to load just to get to the main menu! I removed the modding folders and reverified the files via steam. Even managed to synchronise with golden nug for awhile. Originally posted by VG_Cambrian:I don't know what's happening. It might be hardware related, but then the issue has to be present in other games as well. It's pretty hard to ascertain why the game is performing this way for you. Mods do seem to have had a hand in causing the issue, but I cant say that for certain. Thanks for all your responses.ĭo you have an HDD or an SSD? Are there any other games that have similar issues or is it only occuring in Dragon Age inquisition?Īre the loading screens really long when youre in the game itself or is it just the first loading screen? There is a thing about Origins that lets it save to Cloud, I'm guessing it remembers my save files and/or settings? Its just a guess. Perhaps there some things I haven't discovered that may contribute, besides that I'm all out of ideas. Still the launch time 'takes forever' persists. Remove all software overlays (Steam, Origins, Nvidia Shadow) Delete all other versions and maintain only a steam version (never had the origins version though, only had pirate)Ĥ. Delete save files (I keep a back up at a separate location)ģ. Originally posted by VG_Cambrian:I've tried these range of things:ġ.
